How to create a deployment package?

Shimo is easily deployed within businesses or to customers. Pre-configured accounts, including all required credentials, certificates, etc. can be provided by simply exporting particular VPN connections. This package can easily be distributed to provide a pre-configured VPN client.

How to create a deployment package

1. Click on the little Shimo icon in your menu bar
2. Click Preferences...
3. In the Advanced tab, click Deployment in the left-hand side bar
4. Click **Create Deployment Package **
5. Enter a file name and select the storage location
6. Optional: Enter a Master Password for the security credentials
7. Optional: Check the box Read-only deployment package to prohibit others to change any settings. The users get a pre-configured VPN client and are not allowed to change any configurations or settings
